my horrible night shifts finally ended.

horrible not in the sense that it was very busy
horrible because i am the extra one, not taking case, doing both AN and SN job
wah lau, can die can die.

21st 09 09
first night.
had dinner at seoul yummy with toh hsien yew before going to work

goodness, though it was damn quiet pm shift, as it was PH
but when we came, we admitted a few new cases here and there.
me in a loss of what to do at times

pt scolded me because she cant pee properly on a bed pan and i offered to change the bed sheet for her
and she insisted not to change and slept on a pool of urine for the whole night

pt insisted on going to toilet right after op and refuses to come out after that

luckily turning and feedings aren't much for the first night
feel like killing people when i do hypocount.
lol

breakfast with ilfan at longjohn
and i managed to sleep till 6pm for the first time
im so proud of myself.

Tuesday

2nd night

goodness so much, i think i ate less that 1/4 the rest is eaten by toh hsien yew

and the cheese macaroni is not as nice compared to the time when i went with Nicole
must be toh hsien yew face affected my appetite



goodness, damn busy lah!

first is doing turning, then we do CIC for this confused auntie who keep hitting me and roxanne, shaking her legs here and there
and worse still, unable to succeed.
we spent half and hour fighting with her lah~!

when i came out i did admission for team1, at 16, with her ultra irritating daughters with this cannot make up her mind auntie

and that sn made me do admission, ecgsss

right after I've finished, got to go ot and fetch pt
and have to do para, call dr and return property to pt because sn is busy writing report

right after that got to give iv for her

do qc check only at 4am. lol

2 more admission luckily ilfan did one
and i almost killed the relative cause he is damn irritating
insisted we do half hourly turning for him
insisted we change the pt stat when pt arrived

when ppl damn busy doing admission and stuff, she keep irritating me by asking me to do bladder scan for her
when the pt is NPU since 4pm and the AN told her at 10pm and 2am she heck care.
den when ppl busy like shit she come and irritate me by asking me do non-urgent things

i cannot remember the things that i did already but i only remember i settled down only at 5am
ilfan is damn busy as well.
goodness.
only both of us cant go for break.

luckily an admission came.

finally night ended

breakfast at burger king as both of us were famished

and back home for sleeping till 3pm
when i got ready to meet ilfan, nicole and mei mei to buy ling yan present

23rd 09 09
went to celebrate ling yan birthday in advance

we bought a guess bag for her
and we went steamboat
seriously, the drinks there got a weird smell and the bowls cannot make it.
and the sauces looks weird as well.

I'm damn amazed how much thing lingyan can eat. lol, maybe because i don't like steamboat lah, so i don't usually eat much.
so i always eat yong tau foo food, just like ilfan. lol

we went clark quay to eat cake. lol
we planned the surprise for lingyan, saying Nicole go home and vomit and Janice went home
and appear behind her later on

damn hard to light candles can!
and damn hard to keep ling yan looking in front
lol
