was very busy

one new case, rather 3 cause 2 came at report passing time
first time having only 2 SNs on night
didnt have any time to really sit down
first time guiding nyp student on night
let her took 6 cases
=)
no NIC next morning
sooo. helped them do the trendcare
breakfast at blk 313 with piggie
fried bee hoon with delicious chicken wings
and nicey wanton soup from toh mama.
and a nice sleep till 7pm ends it all.
the dayshift starts tomorrow again.

VERY tired
2 days of dayshift, i can feel bones cracking
i can see varicose veins
i can feel the muscle ache on my calfs
i can stand-sleep on mrt
i can sleep the whole night away on my sofa
I'm starting to feel "12 hour shift".
or maybe 14hour shift?
am i going to continue my life like this?
workin 14hour a day.
what does a nurse mean to me?
what lies in the future?
came across a ex-classmate blog
suddenly felt sad for her
no matter how detestable she were, she doesn't really deserve cold shoulders from the world
till the extend that she found no one even remembers her existence
i felt like showing my concern.
however, i held myself backed for some reasons
i dont know why am i saying this.
sometimes the thought of it makes me feel kind of sad
i found the urge to tear
however held myself back, in order to see your smiling face
how is it going to be like; ahead

after sleeping for soo long yesterday
slept till 11am today
and we cooked breakfast together
haha
after that we continued sleeping till 3pm
before we got ourself out of the house
went orchard today

and just before we went back, we went to SASA
and that was a so wrong decision, coz i spent there lah!

ITS PAY DAY =)
working day shift.
with janice, ilfan, mei mei and others ....
was ultra busy
because of irresponsible colleague's doings
was chide by a patient because his discharge was delayed
i've already done whatever i could during my time.
for colonscopy on 28th but nothing was up
no prep
no nothing
i discharged the patient with only a hospitalisation leave
although there was a lot of TCUs. but nothing was up, not even discharge summary
hai!

Friday night was super relaxing.
everyone was like slacking can.
best night ever!

we met for breakfast after passing report at subway
it was utterly disappointing
GOODNESS!
post-night was uber tiredness

was damn free in the morning with 5 patients
it remained that way till that particular patient came in
whereby i had to go around stealing baxter like some thief
and rushing the changes because the doctor only finished clerking at 6.30pm -.-"'

Day shift dayshift.
1 week of rest makes me feel kinda energised
however all those replenished energies went missing the moment i started working
lol.
i resumed my sleeping-on-sofa acts when i reached home; as usual, nothing new.
haha!
in the morning, discharges issues kept me busy
pt for home yet still wanna refer Dietitian, DNE, podiatrist
i spent so much time getting all those things done
sister lim caught me and told me loads about EDD and made me roll call it. lol
and doing dressing
pt NPU since 5am

out of no where discharge
being scolded for some hidden ID referral.

and others looked okay

then we went over to citybank
and we attempted to apply for the citybank clear visa

and i failed, because I'm under 21. lol
and after that, we met ilfan and nicole!
dinner at cafe cartel

i hope ilfan wont be so sad anymore.
i seriously hope.
because its something that she cannot decide.

Sunday 16/11/08
slept till 1pm
and we woke up. had lunch with mummy
and lots of laughter and funny jokes. lol!
we headed to sunplaza for shopping
and mummy bought me clothes =D
while waiting for mummy to apply for starhub phone line.
and later on mummy went to visit grandma, while i went to piggie house
slack for some time
and headed to causeway point for dinner with boonkeong and xiangyao
dinner at pastamania-yes i know, again!
and we went back to piggie house
toh xinyi and me were bored while bfs were busy buying soccer
so we started mj!
haha
but luck were damn damn lousy
i could count the number of times that i won. which is like less than 5 within 2 rounds
and i lost $30. lols
slept at 4am when mj ends.

woke up at 1030am, got dressed up, woke piggie up
and we left home and met mummy at bishan
then we headed to suntect together for kuishin-bo
hahaha!
lunch wasn't very nice lah. but its still nice. lol
after lunch, we roamed around
went into cotton-on, bought cardigans for myself and grandma. lols
went to build-a-bear to see bears. cause saw it with pehh that day, but it was closing. lols

oh ya. we saw this DM archery shop, and we decided to try it. damn cool lah!
we went to amk hub to meet toh mama and toh xinyi while mummy went back home and rest before she goes for her physio
shopped around. bought things again!

and ended off the day with grocery shopping.

it only started to get busy after me and lingyan came out of our 2nd break; which is about 5pm
admissions started to come in.
my pt came back from op
etc etc
and after we handed over report...
5 admission came together
what the hell.
but because of good ppl at work. admissions made easy. LOL
and they are super good lar. coz they actualise trendcare, actualise SAP for me. LOL
=)
met my piggie after work...
and accompanied him for dinner at burger kings'
we had the Ballsy quad stacker that isn't so nice
the beef smell was over whelming
both of us aren't very beef ppl afterall. lols

woke up damn early; like 7am
to get dressed up and get ready for the beach.
met them at Harbour Front at 9am after getting out of the seriously-too-packed train
and McDonalds' for breakfast

then; we headed to sentosa...
and started our tourist trail
we covered most of the tourist attractions; to take pictures
and we were like photographers can!
i dunno what kinda events those NS ppl are having
but they kept running up to us, asking us to take their pictures
and.... we ended up running away from them!
hahaha!
our ai xin lunch was prepared by our miss ja-nice-different flavours sandwiches!
even though we just roamed around sentosa, taking the trams and buses
but i totally enjoyed gossiping and talking to them lah.
and our evil plots to get photographer, next year travel plans to Korea etc!
wooohoooo!
we left sentosa around 1pm because the sky was turning dark..
and feeling to urge to sing...
we headed to bugis for topone KTV.
and we dug lingyan out of her bed and asked her to join us.
and we began our sing sang sung.
with the stupid disco light effects
and the almost-killed-us dry ice smoke
the spacious rooms
and the ultra diluted re-fillable drinks.
LOL.
