I'm slowly recovering from fever

first night
was a very okay night
few hourly and 2 hourlys
but 1 2h hypocount and a 4h one

and as usual, only 2-3 pts are not on hypocount.

some gossip with hu meow meow in between
night sister pissing me off

and breakfast with piggie toh

only managed to sleep till about 4pm
super tired

2 night seriously; busy
first is this pt, who went passing motion and went unconscious for some time after that.
made me kind of panic when the AN shouted for me

calling security for some bf gf thingy
loads of changes after reg review the new case.

never ending walking up and down the ward
because there is too much hourlys to do

and later one admission came around 2
for 4 pint of platelets
but i kind of got lucky because the pt refused blood transfusion
on hourly as well. one more to the list

and later on 2 admission came at the same time
all 3 were GM cases

and at this time i became super duper busy
another one desat
did neb. suction increase o2
cant get the doctor who is happily sleeping
i think im seriously sway
every time I'm on night sure got desat, and its always happening to those stable pt.

then i went doing my admission
being translator for doctor

all 3 admission for cxr, urine etc
got busy around doing random things.
taking this and that pt to toilet etc for i dunno how many times cause no one at the counter.
zzz

never ending IVs

and finally near 7, the desat pt desaturated again.
zzzz

and, I'm gradually losing my voice as i fly around
imagine passing 19 beds with my cannot make it voice

actually some colleagues really cannot be bothered with you and they are obviously oblivious to how busy u really were
and some worse
come to work in the morning and show a face as though people owe them 10 thousand
hello? get it clear that if u don't want to be thrown to another team which is busier; obviously, just voice it out. no one is forcing u wad.

seriously, i totally cant be bothered and continued passing with my minimal voice left
u think im so easily affected?

and work ends finally

i wanted to help them give IVs, but am simply too tired and my body cant make it already

and eating double choc cookies is akin to killing my own voice.
hahaha!

super hungry cause i didn't have time to sit down for the whole night
let alone drinking water and eating.

happily gossiping about ppl still, in my state of voice. hahaha!

pang went for field camp again =(
we cant contact each other for 4 days.
